Why cable and satellite TV are destroying America

In a day and age where all kids just sit in front of a television while there brains rot is a socially acceptable trend is not an age I would like to live in. do you remember a day when going outside and playing was the thing to do and not get obese and become a coach potato. Or in a day when reading books was the main source of entertainment, but now reading literature is seen as a punishment in houses and in classes.

I think the parents and people that agree with my views should stand up and talk about it more so we can get the real truth out on what TV can do to you and how it is destroying the American image.

Does watching Cable and satellite TV destroy your brain?

You see, when you sit in front of a TV for a prolonged time your brain starts to become in-active and brain cells can be destroyed. During a regular TV show not much thinking is involved when just watching some moving pictures. More educational television shows should be broadcasted more so that TV will not be the demise of the country.

Does cable and satellite TV cause obesity?

Cable and satellite TV does not make people obese. What they do while they are watching the shows on TV, not doing anything or munching on ‘snacks’ does. When you sit down to watch a movie do they not have a bunch of snacks that you can purchase to munch on during the movie? Same thing with TV only you supply yourself with the snacks and drinks. When this activity is continued day through day kids will eventually lose their metabolism, and start to gain weight.

Can cable and satellite TV corrupt?

Of course cable and satellite TV corrupt the young minds of children. MTV is very guilty of this. These music television shows will show women they have to be anorexic to be beautiful in the eyes of men. They Make doing drugs look cool when really it is dangerous, unhealthy, and lethal. A smart child can turn to an unintelligent pant sagging thug because he thinks it’s cool.

So before you let your child watch whatever he wants on TV I suggest getting a v-chip or monitor what they are watching to avoid any of these dangerous.
